Who it is for

Independent restaurants, café groups, and multi-kitchen brands in Malaysia that take a meaningful share of sales through GrabFood, Foodpanda, their own web or app ordering, or a mix of the three. Owners and operations leads who suspect the weekly partner dashboards are incomplete — or who disagree about which menu items actually stall the line.

Result you can expect

A written performance brief that names the strongest and weakest paths through your ordering apps, ties ticket spikes to kitchen stations, and lists a short set of changes worth testing next. The brief is paired with a live session so managers can question the reading against what they see on the pass.

Scope

Included

  • Access checklist and date-range selection (usually four to six weeks of history)
  • Reading of order volume by daypart, channel, and outlet
  • Funnel notes where the partner export exposes browse → cart → paid steps
  • Menu item and modifier performance against prep-time comments from your team
  • Promo and free-delivery windows reviewed against margin notes you provide
  • One 90-minute working session (video or on-site by arrangement)
  • One revision pass on the brief within seven days of the session

Not included

  • Building or redesigning an ordering app
  • Paid media buying or influencer campaigns
  • Continuous monitoring retainers (available separately after the first review)
  • Legal advice on partner contracts

How we work

  1. Intake — You share which apps matter, outlet list, and the weeks that felt most confusing.
  2. Access — We work from partner exports or read-only views you control; we do not ask for payment credentials.
  3. Kitchen context — A short call with a chef or shift lead to map stations and known bottlenecks.
  4. Reading — We annotate the window, draft the brief, and flag open questions.
  5. Debrief — Managers walk the findings with us and choose what to test first.

Duration and place

Most single-outlet reviews complete within two weeks once exports arrive. Multi-outlet work adds calendar days for alignment, not a longer reading method. On-site visits are offered for Kota Kinabalu and selected Klang Valley kitchens when ticket patterns need floor confirmation.

Preparation

Have recent partner CSVs or portal access ready, a list of menu items that changed during the window, and notes on holidays, weather closures, or renovations. If modifiers were renamed, send the old and new labels.

Constraints

We cannot invent data partners withhold. Some apps expose limited funnel detail; in those cases the brief states the gap clearly and leans harder on ticket composition and kitchen interviews.

Pricing basis

Starts at RM 4,800 for one outlet and one primary ordering channel window. Additional channels or outlets are quoted after intake. See Rates for supporting sessions and compare briefs.

Next step

Request a review with your app list and outlet count. We reply within two business days with a proposed window and fee.
